Curriculum

I am a scientist at the French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea (IFREMER). In 2001, I completed a BSc in Marine Science at the National Institute for Marine Sciences and Techniques (Intechmer, France) and at the University of Glamorgan (United Kingdom). In 2005 I completed the Master in Marine and Fisheries Sciences at the University of Aberdeen (United Kingdom) where I studied gear selectivity at the Fisheries Research Services (FRS). I started a PhD at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and the Instituto Español de Oceanografía (IEO) with the University of Vigo (Spain) to work on the stock reproductive potential of marine species. Since February 2009, and before completing my PhD, I became a permanent member of scientific staff of the fishing technology laboratory of IFREMER in Lorient (France). Currently, I work on the development of sustainable fishing gears alternative to the trawl and selectivity issues.
