IFAPA presented the preliminary results of the selectivity studies on the striped venus clam fishery in the "XVI Iberian Symposium on Marine Biology Studies" (SIEBM).

IFAPA participated in “XVI Iberian Symposium on Marine Biology Studies” (SIEBM) that was held on 6-8 September 2010 in the University of Alicante (Spain). Included in PRESPO project, IFAPA Agua del Pino is carrying out comparative studies on the influence of the dredge type on the catch of the striped venus. The results achieved so far, were presented as a poster in this symposium. In particular, it was presented the preliminary results concerning the importance of discards from hydraulic and traditional dredges.
